The Ee Research Group is located in the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Science at the National University of Singapore. With a team of scientists and students from diverse countries and backgrounds ranging from pharmaceutical sciences to biotechnology to microbiology, we embrace a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach in our quest to unlock the potential of peptide- and polymer-based biomaterials for regenerative medicine and antimicrobial action. We regularly play host to and welcome international postgraduate students and pre-university students, who display the drive and passion for scientific discovery, to our lab for research internships and exchanges.
Our paper titled "Facile and efficient encapsulation of antimicrobial peptides via crosslinked DNA nanostructures and their application in wound therapy" was published on Journal of Controlled Release in November 2019.
Our SPS students Yong Rui, Si Yue, and Yixuan won the won the Best Poster and the Best presentation awards at the Integrated Science Congress. Si Yue and Yixuan also won the best presenters award.
