Nhan Dai Thien TRAM
Nhan completed his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with Honours at NUS in 2017. Prior to that, he was a recipient of the A*STAR school-based Scholarship from 2009 to 2010. He joined our group in 2017, having been awarded the NUS Research Scholarship.
Jian Yao NG
Jian Yao completed his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with Honours (Highest Distinction) at NUS in 2016. He completed his pharmacist pre-registration training at the National University Hospital (Singapore) before joining us in 2017. He is a co-author of an invention disclosure for his work in his FYP. He is the recipient of the prestigious NUS President's Graduate Fellowship, and will undertake an NUS Industry Relevant Project (NUS IRP).
Cathy ZHU Xiao
Cathy completed her Bachelor of Science in Medicinal Chemistry at China Pharmaceutical University in 2016. Then, she worked as a research assistant at Beijing Leading Pharm Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (China) in the same year. She completed her Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Science and Medicinal Chemistry with Merit at Loughborough University (UK) in 2018. She joined our group in 2019, having been awarded the NUS Research Scholarship.
Darren PHUA Guan Ge
Darren obtained his Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) with Honours at NUS in 2019 before joining our group in the same year to pursue his PhD. He will undertake a collaborative project with Roquette Asia Pacific Pte Ltd to work on plant-based materials, under the Economic Development Board Industrial Postgraduate Programme (EDB-IPP).
Xu Jian completed his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2016. Then he completed his Master degree of Pharmaceutics at Shanghai Institute of Materia and Medica, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2019. After that, he was employed as a marketing manager at Abace-Biology Company. He joined our group in 2020, having been awarded the NUS Research Scholarship.
Devika completed her Bachelor of Science at Bangalore University (India) in 2008. She completed her Master of Science in Medical Microbiology from Manipal University (India) in 2011. She was then awarded the NUS Research Scholarship to pursue her PhD at the Department of Microbiology & Immunology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. Her thesis was on Antimycobacterial Drug Discovery and she graduated in 2017. She joined us in September 2017 as a Research Fellow.
Jun Jie KOH
Jun Jie obtained his Bachelor of Science in Applied Chemistry with Honours at NUS in 2011. He was then awarded NUS President's Graduate Fellowship to pursue his PhD at the Department of Ophthalmology, NUS. He then worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Singapore Eye Research Institute, before joining us in November 2018 as a research fellow.
