  • Sybil and Ying are heading out to Seattle, Washington for the 2016 CRS Annual Meeting to present their work.

  • Ying will also be going on a stint as a research exchange student in Johns Hopkins University under the supervision of Prof Hai-Quan Mao.

  • We welcome Dr Amgad Rezk to our lab as a visiting scholar! Dr Rezk is a research fellow who specializes in microfluidics and surface acoustic waves at the School of Civil, Environmental and Chemical Engineering in RMIT Australia. He is the 2014 recipient of the prestigious Winston Churchill Fellowship.

  • Dr. Ee is invited to give a talk on "Modulation of WNT signaling for neuroprotection" at the 8th International Symposium on Cell/Tissue Injury and Cytoprotection/Organoprotection at Budapest, Hungary.

  • Dr. Ee is invited by University of Illinois at Chicago, her graduate university, to give a talk on "Peptide- and polymer-based biomaterials for antimicrobial therapeutics and cell delivery".

  • Dr. Ee is invited to give a talk on “Antimicrobial peptides in tuberculosis: therapeutic possibilities and perspectives” at Imperial College London, UK.
